KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 2 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has said Oracle's investment decision reflects the confidence and commitment of global technology companies in Malaysia's potential as a regional gateway for cloud infrastructure and supporting the growth of the regional artificial intelligence (AI) ecosystem.
KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 2 — Oracle plans to invest more than US$6.5 billion (RM26.9 billion) to set up its first public cloud region in Malaysia, the company said today, the latest major investment by a global tech firm into the Southeast Asian country.
PUTRAJAYA, Oct 9 — The closing date for cloud computing service providers to participate in the Request for Proposal (RFP) process for the provision of public cloud services to the government is October 12 at noon, said the Malaysian Administrative Modernisation and Management Planning Unit (Mampu).
